About Me

Hi! Welcome to my blog and thank you for taking the time to stop by and read about me! I'm a midwesterner by birth and a Californian by heart. I'm a recent college graduate about to begin my first year of teaching. As if that wouldn't be a big enough (or difficult enough) adventure, I'll be teaching 5th grade in the small town of Gracias, Honduras, a place I've never been! Something like this, though, has been a long time dream of mine, and I can't wait to get started and to learn in and through the ups and downs of teaching and adjusting to a new culture. I know this journey will be challenging, but I trust that by God's grace I will make it through and be a better teacher and person because of it.
